Our Intro to Sail Racing program is unique. We are the only boat that is racing seriously with the goal of training the crew. This isn’t a replacement for our fundamental sailing classes — it’s just part of the fun. We’d like you to join us for at least 4 sessions. They don’t need to be consecutive, but if you can make four, we’ll make sure you’re learning something new about boat handling, speed, race strategy and tactics. All in all, we’re going to train you to become a better sailor.

Here are the details:

We meet every Wednesday from April to September.
4:00pm: Class starts
5:00pm: Leave the dock and train on the water
6:30pm: Our race starts
8:30pm: Back on the dock to clean up and debrief
9:00pm: Finish

After that, you can head home or go to the yacht club for dinner to wait for the race results.

We will have a crew of six people aboard each night, and spots will be filled on a first come, first served basis.

Sail racing is intrinsically a group sport so each race will be with a group of fellow racers.  All classes are Wednesday evenings between April and Sept.  Contact us for more details.
